Roy Berkowitz, CPA

As a Managing Director of Accounting / Finance for The Execu|Search Group, Roy is a proven performer in placing highly qualified talent with the right firm. He is an effective communicator, consistently demonstrating his commitment to providing highly personalized service.

Prior to joining our firm, Roy gained first-hand industry experience that has armed him with the ability to more intimately understand his clients’ and candidates’ needs. Over the course of his career, he has worked at a Big 4 CPCPA firm, as well as a Fortune 100 company where he was responsible for SEC reporting. These experiences have helped formulate his approach to successful recruiting: “I believe that being direct, honest, and fully disclosing all relevant information in a timely manner are the keys to being effective in this business.”

Roy is a CPA and member of the Accounting Honor Society. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from the City University of New York at Queens College, as well as a minor in sociology, which he credits with helping him to better understand how individuals relate to one another.

The father of three, he has been married to his high school sweetheart since 1986. His passion is attending live music and mixed-martial arts fights.
